Choices4Teens Mentoring Group was founded in 2003 by MA State Probation Officer, Trayce Hillman, who volunteered as a coordinator of programming in its early beginnings. Ms. Hillman, has a B.A. in Legal Studies from University of Mass/Amherst and over 32 years of experience within the Trial Court and Choices4Teens Mentoring.

Our Story

Trayce Hillman, a former Superior Court Probation Officer is the founder and president of Choices4Teens Mentoring Group.

In response to many investigations and research conducted on adult criminal offenders along with many risk assessments on felons who were involved in continued violent gang activity and drug use I discovered their behaviors culminated from the risky behaviors they engaged in as a youth, between the ages of 11 - 14.

Thus, Choices4teens Mentoring Group was envisioned as a catalyst for change.

We’re an evidenced based mentoring network with a culturally responsive curriculum to provide positive reinforcement away from peer pressure and negative behaviors to one focused on academic success
